Enaleni Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Excellent deep ruby red colour. Rich layers of dark fruit aromas, black current, cassis and mint. A well-balanced medium to full-bodied wine with soft integrated oak tannins followed by a rich, lingering finish.
The grapes were handpicked from premium vineyards on the Enaleni Farm situated in the prime winemaking region of Stellenbosch.
The grapes were harvested during March from selected vineyards on the Enaleni farm. The juice was fermented in open red fermenting tanks with Malolactic fermentation taking place after racking. The wine was matured in French oak barrels for 12 months.
Ready to be enjoyed now with the potential to age further for seven years.
Excellent served with herb-crusted lamb roasts, game fish, mild cheeses, stuffed poultry and barbecues.
